6 Must-Try Ways To Style Your ‘Hair Are Us’ Extensions

Summer is coming to a close and we are now entering the season of the switch up, sis.

The curveballs that have been thrown at us in recent months prove that adaptability is key to your glow up and what better way to show your versatility than to debut a new look.

Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to break the bank to elevate your protective style and we have six ways to repurpose your Hair Are Us bundles and create looks that will allow you to slay your local grocery store in style.

Sew-In With Closure or Frontal

Face it, sis. That leave-out has been left out for far too long and it’s probably time that you give it a break. Luckily, HAU has a line of closures and frontals that will allow you to protect your tresses and show your edges the mercy they deserve.

Ponytail

The only thing better than one sleek AF ponytail is two and our good sis Jasmin Brown gave us our entire lives with this braided look using clip-ins from HAU’s Indian Curly Collection. If you’re like me and Savannah James, who like to keep it cute as simple naturalistas, this look can be achieved easily by using with HAU’s Pro-Tamer Brush and your preferred brand of edge control to slick your hair back and let your ponytail speak for itself.

Half-Up/Half-Down With Clip-Ins

Speaking of entire looks that can be created in a few moments––I was today years old when I learned that clip-ins were the must-have hair trend I didn’t know I needed and now I’m sure that I can’t live without them. Using a flat iron, HAU’s Indian Wavy Drawstring Ponytail, and Indian Wavy Clip-Ins, HAU co-founder Khat Brim served us a half-up/half-down look in less than 10 minutes that is perfect for your next zoom meeting.

Wigs

When my man tells me he wants to see other people, I just pull out a new wig and HAU has a variety of straight, curly, and wavy units that keep me all the way laced. Try checking out all three of HAU’s color collections for a variety of bundles that will have you crowned queen of the switch-up.

Faux locs

Getting twisted requires time, dedication, and patience, and since I have none of those things, I plan on booking my appointment to get faux locs expeditiously. If you want to achieve this look without the commitment, you can use HAU’s Indian Curly and Brazilian Curly bundles to create natural-looking locs that can last up to six weeks per install.

Knotless Braids

Looking for another high-end, low-maintenance, no-tension style that can last for more than a month? Recreate these knotless braids as seen on Jordyn Woods using HAU’s Premium Indian Curly extensions at the ends for a new spin on a classic look.
